Saxon Medieval theologian, philosopher and mystical writer.

Latin Mappae Mundi

In Upper Egypt, which is near the Outer Ocean at the mouth of the Red Sea, are to be found serpents, basilisks and dragons, which poison the air with their breath, together with a certain people called Nubians.
