L. de Mas Latrie in "Trésor de Chronologie d'Histoire et de Géographie pour l'étude et l'emploi des documents du Moyen Age", Paris 1889, mentioned the territorial organization of the Church in Africa in the 7th century as follows:
1. The Patriarchate of Alexandria
2. The Church of Ethiopia or Abyssinia
The Church of Nubia
The Homerite Church in Arabia Felix
The Church of Adulis on the Red Sea
