Professor Dr. Jorg Klinger at jklinger@zedat.fu-berlin.de emailed for permission on 2/13/11. Christina Gericke informs me on 2/15/11 that copyright for this article has reverted to the author, Gerald Browne. As he is deceased, approval thus would come from his estate, represented by Stephen Bay. Bay's letter approving this project is forthcoming.

15. Griffith's Graffito 2.5-9 (gr. 2): According to Browne 2002, 4, he relies on Griffith 1913 for this text, and has no re-edition himself. Thus, 1913, The Nubian Texts of the Christian Period, Berlin. This is presumably out of copyright.

16. The Coptic-Museum John (CM): 1992b, ’Notes on Old Nubian texts (X)’, Beiträge zur Sudanforschung 5, pp. 31–7 and 1994b, Bibliorum Sacrorum versio paleonubiana [= Corpus Scriptorum Christianorum Orientalium 547, Subsidia 87], Louvain.
