Instead of the opposition between indicative and subjunctive tenses, it might be useful to formulate the paradigms in ON according to the opposition in Kunuz between positive and negative verbs. Note that in the indicative negative ON forms, the -r is dropped and replaced by -men

Positive:

L 101.14: piss-r-e (1sg pres pos)

Negative:

L 107.14: sen-[im]inn-e- (1sg pres neg)
