Hermann the Second

Also known as Hermann the Slave, the Carinthian or the Dalmatian.

De essentiis.

Latin.


Illinc per Occeani insulas sub ipso equinoctiali 15 fere gradibus usque ultra Meroen insulam Niliacam sub Tauro et Leone sitam haut procul a superiori Egypto.


Thence across the Ocean Islands, below the Equator on about 15 degrees is Meroe, an island of the Nile located under the signs of Taurus and Leo, near upper Egypt .
